The wood and stone terrace of Villa Vicente Juan blends into the steep landscape. With its whitewashed facade, flat roof and driftwood pergola, it is reminiscent of the traditional fincas scattered over the white island. As you enter through the front door, hammocks stretching between two olive trees, hanging candles and linen poufs reveal the general atmosphere. Inside, the villa looks like a true hippie-chic dwelling. You find a mix of Bohemian details: Persian rugs and charming colorful cushions pile up on the floor; wildflowers adorn handcrafted wicker pendant lights and a gypsy guitar hangs near the fireplace. In the rooms, photos in faded colors celebrate the old Ibiza, that of hippies and traveling souls. Get up early to take a ride off the beaten track. Stop in the mountains to have a picnic under the Balearic sun. Upon returning to the villa cool off in the infinity pool, designed to resemble a natural pool. Settle in the weathered-wood rocking chair on the balcony to admire the view of the sunset over the hills and its pink-orange reflections. Later, gather round in the rustic kitchen to drink a glass of red wine while dinner is slowly cooking.
