As we all know the hairiest month of the year is here!

The month not only full of hundreds beards and moustaches, but mainly full on action against some of the biggest health issues faced by men – prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

What should you to do then? Start clean shaven now, grow and groom your moustache for the rest of November and take a MOVE challenge!

MOVE challenge is initiative by the MOVEMBER FOUNDATION, which is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier and longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising £402 million and funding over 1,000 programmes focusing on these health issues.

  1.   Sign up to MOVE every day for 30 days this Movember.
  2.  Get moving at least 30 minutes a day! Big or small, any kind of physical activity counts. Take a 30 minute walk to work, play a game of ping pong or go on an epic bike ride.
  3.  Raise funds for men’s health. Help yourself, help others – it’s win-win.

And why MOVE? Because sitting is the new smoking.

We all know exercise is good for us, and most of us could stand to do a little more. In fact, moving on a regular basis can reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer by up to 50%. So be a champion of men’s health, starting with your own.
