Ibiza has another very cool project in plan. A brand new graphic contest rewarding the best artwork designed and created by clubs and venues in Ibiza!
It was only amount of time that someone will celebrate and appreciate the amazing work graphic designers of each club are doing. The main idea is to emphasize that music, entertainment, trends, design and visual art come together.
The event and the whole project is supported even by the biggest names in the industry:
Richie Hawtin: “Good design has to go further, it has to connect directly with the musical concept”
Steve Aoki: “Graphic design is essentially art and, as artists, we should look at music, but also at one’s image”
Ibiza Design Awards was born from the idea of two professionals who are passionate about cutting-edge graphic design, Iratxe Larrea and Ibai Cereijo.
The project also seeks to inspire a cool premium audience interested in the latest trends in design, fashion, aesthetics and dance culture. Moreover the artists are going to be judged by real first-rate jury of professionals, consisting of a sculptor Iratxe Larrea, graphic arts expert César Sanchez, marketing specialist Ludmila Mastromonaco and the art director Raul Gª Uclés (Sr.Qu.). To make the event even more thrilling their decision will be announced the day of the ceremony.
Founders have thought about the event very carefully and that’s why they’ve chosen a hip and cool place, the exclusive Santos Ibiza Coast Suites, hosting the event on September 18, 2014.
The gala event will feature one of the rising names in Spanish electronic music industry, Cora Novoa!
